Henry Nyberg - a Swedish pilot without a valid certificate built his own, non-approved aircraft, which lacks legal registration. On the other hand, a great aviation interest made him build this machine, taught himself to fly, and with it, he flew well over 1000 hours.

The machine is a single-engine, low-wing aircraft that began to be built in 1967. It is his own construction and as such extremely impressive. He visited a Technical School to get some ideas.

It was first fitted with a VW engine of 1100cc and 25 hp and a propeller with 4 ft diameter. This gave a take-off distance of 425 ft and a climb of 3 ft / sec. Top speed was 145 mph. He also built his own propeller, very impressive. Also his systematic way of becoming his own flight instructor.
 

In 1973 he switched to a 1600cc VW engine and a larger propeller 4.6 ft in diameter. The take-off distance was reduced to 360 ft and the rate of climb improved to 13 ft / sec with unchanged top speed. 
The only thing that Nyberg would never be completely satisfied with was the plastic canopy that he could not get quite right without the bulging dents.
